About Lil’ Freaky
Born Fredriquez Chaney, Lil’ Freaky – whose name was bestowed upon him by mentor, the late Big Dawg Slim – was born and raised on the west side of Atlanta, Georgia. The rapper first stepped on the music scene back in 2007 with his debut single, “Sack Right, We Straight”, produced by Fat Matt and Grade A. At the age of fifteen, his childhood came to a halt when he became a father. However, his kids – as well as his family – serve as the primary source of his motivation. While embarking on a journey through the entertainment industry, Lil’ Freaky stepped to the microphone with more than money on his mind. Deeming Nas and Big Meech as his biggest influences, Lil’ Freaky has a real passion for storytelling through his music. His music is self-proclaimed to be “young, real and entertaining”. While his music does appeal to young people and hustlers, it can crossover to anyone in the struggle and who can relate to having to grow up and take on responsibility. Lil’ Freaky is creating a new movement, #Dripset, and everyone is welcome to join the wave!
